Pools
Here at AJ’s, we have four different pools for you to use to suit all your swimming and water needs. Our pools range from our smallest indoor 7m pool that’s perfect for relaxing, gentle walking & therapy, to our 15m indoor hydrotherapy and learn to swim magnesium pool, right through to our two, 6 lane indoor and outdoor 25m pools that are great for lap swimming and fitness.
15m Pool (Hydrotherapy/ Magnesium Pool)
Our 15m pool is specifically designed for learn to swim lessons, hydrotherapy and shallow water aqua. Its continuous depth of 1.2m makes it ideal for these activities as well as many more. Another great feature of our 15m pool is its easy access ramp into the pool with handrails, giving you the ability to gently walk down into the pool or to utilise it for wheelchair access. Our 15m pool is kept at a beautiful 34 degrees all year round, making it perfect for our learn to swim classes and our gentle aqua aerobics classes.
This pool is also ideal for rehabilitation. We would be happy to make a booking for you in you wish to use this pool for rehab exercises. We ask that you please have a doctors or physio certificate before making the booking. You can contact us on 3273 2978 for more information.
With our kids waiting room directly adjacent to our 15m pool, it also makes it ideal for children’s birthday and or pool parties. Please contact us on 3273 2978 if you wish to enquire about hiring our facilities.
25m Indoor Pool
Our indoor 25m pool is popular with those who want to gain the benefits and fitness of lap swimming while staying out of the sun. Heated to a warm 32 degrees make this pool ideal for indoor lap swimming. It is easily assessible via the stairs at either the shallow end of the pool (0.8m deep) of the stairs situated halfway down the pool. The pool gradually drops off from 0.8m deep to its deep end at 1.8m. At the deep end of the pool, the pool is fitted with diving blocks making a great addition to the pool and allowing our learn to swim and squad swimmers to practice and perfect their swimming dives.
25m Outdoor Pool
Our outdoor 25m pool is much loved by our members who love to either swim laps outside or to simply relax in the cool refreshing water. Our outdoor pool is also easily accessible too with steps at either end of the pool where you can walk right down into the 1.2m deep pool. Most days you will find our swimming squad program being conducted in this pool of an afternoon.
Our outdoor 25m pool is also proudly the home of AJ’s Swim Team, who, during the summer season use this pool on a Friday night for their weekly club nights events.
7m Pool
The smallest of all our pool is our 7m pool. This pool is great if you are looking to simply sit and relax in or do gentle water walking and hydrotherapy. Like all our pools, this pool also has easy access with its handrail and steps that you can use to walk right down into the 1.0m deep pool. We maintain our 7m pool at a pleasant 32 degrees all year round for your enjoyment.

Our pools are tested multiple times throughout the day to ensure that their chemical levels are kept safe and maintained for your satisfaction.
