JARROD IVORY

Jarrod’s fitness journey began in 2000 as a Rugby League Development Officer, where he discovered his passion for coaching and mentoring. Over the years, he applied these skills in the corporate world, motivating teams and driving successful outcomes. As a father of two young boys, Jarrod understands the challenges of balancing personal commitments while striving to achieve fitness goals. His mission is to help individuals lead healthier lifestyles for themselves and their families.

Having been a member and trainer at AJ’s/Strand since 1993 and working in various capacities since 2013, Jarrod brings decades of experience and a deep connection to the community. His functional training approach is tailored to each client, focusing on practical movements that build strength and improve overall fitness.

DALLAS MEAD

Dallas Mead is a former professional athlete in rugby league and a professional wrestler, bringing over two decades of experience in personal training and a lifetime immersed in sports and fitness. Known as a “big friendly giant,” Dallas combines his extensive knowledge with a personable approach to make every session both effective and enjoyable. Proud husband and father of three, Dallas understands the importance of balancing fitness with family life.

MICHAEL SPOWART

After completing Certificate III and IV through Fitness Institute in 2014 while serving in the Australian Army as an infantry soldier, Michael has gained extensive experience. He has worked as a personal trainer in various gyms across Sydney, Brisbane, and Townsville, and actively competed in bodybuilding competitions, achieving success in the Classic Physique category. Michael furthered his education with a Diploma in Bodybuilding and Fitness Methods from the IFBB Academy. Currently based on the Gold Coast, he also works as a bodyguard and security coordinator for TV reality shows.

Tylah joined AJ’s Sports Centre as a member over 10 years ago, discovering a deep passion for fitness through her personal journey. After completing her Certificate III and IV in Fitness, Tylah’s mission became clear: to inspire and assist others in reaching their fitness goals and showing that anything is possible. Alongside her role at the gym, she works as a support worker for NDIS clients, demonstrating her commitment to helping people both inside and outside the gym.

Megan has been passionate about fitness for over 20 years, drawing from her own journey of overcoming weight challenges and anxiety. Her mission as a personal trainer is to empower others to find confidence in the gym and discover the joy and rewards of a healthy lifestyle. Megan’s approachable and supportive style makes her a favorite among clients. Beyond the gym, she has competed in three powerlifting competitions and has a deep love for animals, volunteering over two years at the Animal Welfare League.

Courtney’s passion for fitness began in 2019, sparked by her own inspiring journey of losing 20kg and overcoming not only physical challenges but also significant mental hurdles. She believes that any health journey is as much a mental transformation as it is a physical one.

This experience ignited her mission to help others become the healthiest versions of themselves. Courtney is dedicated to educating her clients on correct weightlifting techniques and creating sustainable, healthy lifestyle habits.

Known for her energetic, supportive, and fun-loving personality, Courtney has helped hundreds of individuals unlock their full potential. She loves hybrid-style training that improves both strength and endurance for all-around performance.

Her training style is a mix of strength and functional exercises, tailored to meet each client’s needs. Whether it’s weight loss, strength training, or building confidence for those new to fitness, Kawther is here to guide you every step of the way.

Kawther is also fluent in Arabic and Persian, making her accessible to a diverse range of clients.
